I received it Sunday 8th January 2012, 10.50am.I was about to leave home to go to church when the spirit of prophecy came upon me. I pass this on to you exactly as I received it.

You have now entered a new period of time that I spoke of in my word.
The shaking has begun!
There will be skrimages break out in locations, even in churches. Your enemy has become fearful and knows his time is short so he will raise his head and cause brothers to rise against brother. You will hear news from here and there that will shake you, if you can be shaken.

The wolves in the sheep pen I will expose and remove.
There are those who are not of me and look like they are immovable but they shall be shaken and not remain.

This is a time to stand firm on my word and to reinforce the things that I have shown you.
It is a time of war and not of peace. It is a time to stand together, rise together and assist one another. For if you stand and move together united as one man you shall win.

This season will not last but it will be intense. Therefore remember the things I have told you and prepare yourselves.

You are mine; called, chosen and set aside for such a time as this. I will send you to help this one and that one, to strengthen and overcome. You will win this battle for I will order your steps.

Do not be discouraged or fearful of the things you hear or see for these things most come to pass.

Listen carefully now for my instruction and ready yourselves for the shaken has begun.

Saith the Lord of Host.

Ps 66:5 "Come and see the works of God:
he is terrible in his doing toward the children of men".

Reading this at face value would almost deflate your faith until you look more closely at the text and especially at the wording in greater depth. The word 'terrible' is translated in our modern day vernacular as, 'Incredible'. That changed the whole context of the scripture! In fact just writing that word made me feel stronger, more able and ready for anything.

I think the Apostle Paul captured this thought when he penned these inspiring words under the anointing and watchful eye of the Holy Spirit.

"I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency]." Phil 4:13 (amplified bible)

Whatever awaits you today, whether it be from friend or foe, remember, through Christ you can overcome it. You are bigger on the inside than you are on the outside. You are more able than you think. You have been infused with strength by the Holy Spirit Himself and not just to cope but to conquer.

When I was a child attending Sunday School we used to sing 'with Christ in the vessel we can smile at the storm'. The God who does incredible things is onboard your life.

Press on, press in and overcome in Jesus Name.

Job 42:10 And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends:

Last weekend Laura and I were ministering in the South of Ireland. At the end of the meeting a lady came to Laura with a miracle report. She said that the last time we were in that place she had come up in the prayer line for prayer. She had not come for her own needs but for a young man who was going blind and that he would be healed. She said while Laura was praying for this young man that she began to see flickering lights out of her eye that she was blind in. She said nothing at the time because she came for her friend and not for herself but she could now report that she was no longer blind and the Lord had fully restored her sight.

Maybe the key to your miracle lies in your compassion and concern for others. Find someone with similar afflictions to that that you are going through and pray for them.

Mark 1:32 and at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils. 33 And all the city was gathered together at the door. 34 And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him. 35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. 36 And Simon and they that were with him followed after him. 37 And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee. 38 And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth.

The pressure is on. The day is over but the work is not complete. Early the next day the disciples came: “the people are demanding that you come for all men seek ye”
The needs of the afflicted, the maimed and suffering cried out making a demand for Jesus to stay up all night. He had the capability of healing and relieving their pain but like you and I, as a human being he was limited.

How much can you do, without exhausting yourself?
How much pressure can you remain under without reaching “burn out?”

Each one has their own limitations and the key to effectiveness is discovering how to work within that boundary. When you are too tired you become ineffective.

Jesus left in the middle of His ministry with many needs unmet. Somewhere that day in the midst of all the miracles he decided that it was enough and he stepped to one side. He went up the mountain and spent the night with the Father.

1\ Jesus had to pause, leave people and replenish his own life ( v 35)

2\ Do not be distracted from the real mission. ( v 36,37)

3\ Jesus set his priorities by his purpose:
“For this purpose I am come forth” ( v38)

4\ We have got to see the big picture
Jesus went alone to a solitary place and renewed the ‘big picture’

5\ Seeing the ‘big picture’ will enable your to reset you priorities
and complete your mission in life.

I know I dedicated these writings to encourage and challenge you all but I just had to share this one with you.

In Florida, an atheist created a case against Easter and Passover Holy days. He hired an attorney to bring a discrimination case against Christians and Jews and observances of their holy days. The argument was that it was unfair that atheists had no such recognized days. The case was brought before a judge. After listening to the passionate presentation by the lawyer, the judge banged his gavel declaring,” Case dismissed!"
The lawyer immediately stood objecting to the ruling saying, "Your honour, How can you possibly dismiss this case? The Christians have Christmas, Easter and others. The Jews have Passover, Yom Kippur and Hanukkah, yet my client and all other atheists have no such holidays."
The judge leaned forward in his chair saying, "But you do. Your client, counsel, is woefully ignorant."
The lawyer said, "Your Honour, we are unaware of any special observance or holiday for atheists."
The judge said, "The calendar says April 1st is April Fools Day. Psalm 14:1 states, 'The fool says in his heart, there is no God.' Thus, it is the opinion of this court, that, if your client says there is no God, then he is a fool. Therefore, April 1st is his day.
Court is adjourned"

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. [Heb 13:2]

Fleming was a poor Scottish farmer. One day at work in a field he heard a cry for help. Following the sound, Fleming came to a deep bog, in which a boy was stuck up to his chest, screaming and sinking. Farmer Fleming tied a rope around his own waist and the other end to a tree, and waded into the bog. After a mighty struggle in which it seemed they would both perish, the exhausted farmer pulled himself and the boy to safety. He took the lad back to the farmhouse, where Mrs Fleming fed him, dried his clothes, and when satisfied he had recovered, sent him on his way home.
The next day a carriage arrived at the Fleming's humble farmhouse. A well-dressed man stepped out and introduced himself as the father of the boy whom Fleming had saved. "You saved my son's life," said the man to Fleming, "How can I repay you?"
"I don't want payment," Fleming replied, "Anyone would have done the same."
At that moment, Fleming's own young son appeared at the farmhouse door.
"Is he your son?" the man asked. "Yes," said Fleming proudly. "I have an idea. Let me pay for his education. If he's like his father, he'll grow to be a man we'll both be proud of."
And so he did. The farmer's son attended the very best schools, graduated medical college, and later became the world-renowned Nobel prize-winning scientist and discoverer of penicillin, Sir Alexander Fleming.
It is said that many years later, the grown man who'd been saved from the bog as a boy, was stricken with pneumonia.
Penicillin saved his life. His name? Sir Winston Churchill.

You just never know who you are helping!

Psalm 33:6
By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.

With a simple breath, inhale and exhale, the Lord brought magnificence into creation. The stars planets that revolve through space came forth on the breath of the Lord. The host, heavenly and earthly, sprang from His mouth . Our world and every last thing in it came into being by His Word. How can the splendor and mystery of our God ever be denied? Our Lord is above all things, and there is nothing that is beyond His control. His breath is within us; the breath of all life. Rejoice.

Prayer: Creator, Your imagination has yielded wonders beyond our comprehension. We stand in awe before Your mighty power. Thank You for finding a place in all of this for me. Your love shines forth throughout all of Your creation. Praise be unto You. Amen.

Miss Havisham is a significant character in the Charles Dickens novel ‘Great Expectations’. The novelist says she fell in love with a man named Compeyson, who was only out to swindle her out of her riches. Her cousin Matthew Pocket warned her to be careful, but she was too much in love to listen. At twenty minutes to nine on their wedding day, while she was dressing, Havisham received a letter from Compeyson and realized that he had defrauded her and she had been left at the altar. Humiliated and heartbroken, Havisham had all the clocks stopped at the exact time in which she had learned of her betrayal. From that day on, she remained by herself in her decaying mansion, never removing her wedding dress; leaving the wedding cake uneaten on the table and only allowing a few people to see her until the day she died.

“If its bad enough, it can stop your clock!”

That disappointment, that missed opportunity, the betrayal, the let down or the unexpected letter can cause you to become stuck in time. It’s the place we say “I’ll never get over this,” and many never do. Twenty years later they can still tell you the day, date and time the event took place.

You have a choice today. Stop the clock and make time stand still. Never move on and be relegated to walk in circles for the rest of your days.

The Apostle Paul had a desire to go on a mission trip to Spain. On this trip he would bring the gospel to a lost and dying world; instead God sent him to prison in Rome. He faced the same choices as Miss Havasham but he decided, “As long as I am here I will write some letters,” these became the New Testament epistles. He no doubt would and could have accomplished great things in Spain but not compared to the work of those 4 letters.


v13.......but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. [Philippians 3:13]

“He was a mighty man…but a Leper” 2kings 5:1 NKJV

Two things to observe in the story of Naaman,

1. Everybody needs help. Not just the down-n-outers but the up-n-outers.
Being a five star general doesn’t mean a thing when someone’s dying with leprosy. ‘But they wont listen to me,’ you say. Maybe not today, but when things get bad enough you’d be surprised how they listen. Just serve with excellence and be ready with an answer when the time comes.

2. God’s hand is on you to minster where He placed you. It was the encouragement of someone who got close enough to see Naaman’s real problem, then introduce him to God, that brought about his healing. When God puts you close to someone and makes you privy to certain information, He does it so that you can give them, ‘a word in season’.

God used a cleaning lady who worked in his house to reach Naaman. What if she had rebelled against making the beds and washing dishes? Or decided to go out and gossip about the problem instead?

Today you have a role to play in God’s plan. The servant who challenged Naaman to humble himself and dip seven times in the Jordon River is not named in scripture but he was indispensable to the process and so are you.

Few athletes have more fans than the Basketball player Michael Jordan. Yet when a reporter asked him why he liked his Dad to attend his games he replied, ‘When he’s there I have at least one fan!”

Everybody needs encouragement. You could speak a word today that would change someone’s life

Win at all costs! Whatever it takes, whatever you have to do, whatever you have to adjust, turn, uproot, pull down, plant, go by, be, say, give, cry over, shout over, climb over, get over, dig under, press through, squeeze through, put on, take off, run from, stay with, carry, leave behind, stand in front of, run over, prayer over, forget, forgive, step on, step over, step a side of, puff, blow, moan or smile at;
DO IT! JUST DON'T QUIT! !

Recently a brother in the Lord sent me this and I thought I would pass on to you for some consideration.

Bill Gates recently gave a speech at a High School about eleven things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world.

Rule 1: Life is not fair - get used to it!

Rule 2: The world doesn't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.

Rule 3: You will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of high school. You won't be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.

Rule 4: If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss

Rule 5: Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping: They called it opportunity.

Rule 6: If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, so don't whine about your mistakes, learn from them.

Rule 7: Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent's generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.

Rule 8: Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades and they'll give you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer. *This doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.

Rule 9: Life is not divided into semesters.
You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. *Do that on your own time.

Rule 10: Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.

Rule 11: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.

Oh that is so true. I wish I had said that….. Just a minute I think I just did!

Starbucks is a wonderful place. The smell of fresh ground coffee, the chatter from the business people making industry work intermingled with loud giggles from a group of teenage girls as they pass their phones to each other to view their latest boyfriend pictures. The young couple gazing at each other unaware that they are in public. Close by me sits a young man, fingers dancing on the keyboards of his bright new laptop sending out information to an unknown person, at the desk somewhere in a distant land. The elderly man reading yesterdays newspaper looking up momentarily to reply to an old friend as he makes his way to the counter for his free refill. Another sip of Carmel flavoured latte and smile of contentment, “Ah yes, what a wonderful place this is”.

This is not the first time I have had this thought. I sat alone in an airport waiting on a flight to Cork when this thought first came like a longing within me; as if there was something missing. “I wish I had Laura here to share this with me”.

I have come to the conclusion, life is not meant to be viewed or enjoyed alone. Wouldn’t it be so much better if I had someone to sit with me? We wouldn’t have to say much to each other. Maybe some idle chit chat or devising a plan to re-shape a nation. It wouldn’t even have to be too long, just someone with whom to share a moment.

God says in the beginning in the book of Genesis 2:18 “And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone;” And I am inclined to agree with Him.

This week’s message: Share a moment and change a life.

All it takes is a phone call a text message and the world can be a different place. For the person you contact and for yourself. There is probably someone sitting right now as you read this who would jump at the opportunity to have a coffee with you. There is someone sitting at their office desk, kitchen sink, a hospital ward or nursing home who has not had someone to share a moment with for a long time. There world has become small, dark and insular. Loneliness lurks like a dark shadow to bring more pain and isolation to that person. Here is the good news; someone can change all that right now and you are that someone.

Who came to mind when you read that last passage? Someone you overlooked for a long time? Someone you promised yourself you would meet but never took the time? Maybe it was a family member or a friend. Maybe someone you see struggling in church. Go on lift the phone, send the text; (I should get a free coffee for this advert) but Starbucks awaits you! It will make a difference to them and it will enlarge your circle of influence.

As leaders our duty, our mission, goal or our passion is to assist, encourage, instruct and make ways for others as they journey through the complexities of life. I am sure that you, like me have many testimonies and trophies of grace that remind us of the victories we helped secure for others. The hours of prayer, the phone calls, the faith statements and the pats on the back to help them through some of their fiercest storms. The bed side vitals and ‘do whatever it takes’ attitude so a soul will make it safely to shore.

It is at times when the enemy turns on us that the trouble arises. “Who can I talk to? Who is here for me? Where or who can I run to?” These simple and seemingly harmless words can open a door to discouragement and utter despair. We do not have the luxury to be ‘open’ and ‘bear our soul’ before all, lest we cause discouragement. As leader we lead no matter whether good or evil and people will follow you right into or right out off the pit of despair.

So many feel trapped, alone, isolated like a deer surrounded by hungry lions waiting to be torn apart. Feeling let down, discouraged and this question ringing in their ears. “Who can I talk to? Who is here for me? Where or who can I run to?”

As leaders we must be careful that we do not allow the enemy to discourage us in this one area for in this very place there is an open door for him to attempt to enter.

Let me say this to those of you going through the storms. Yes, you do need to talk to someone but be careful in whom you confide. When the storm is passed you will move on but they will remember your weakness. So who do we talk to?

No.1 The lord. When David was going through one of the worst trials of his life, he was faced with a moment where he had no one and no where to run to.

1Sa 30:6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.

Begin to re affirm your faith in the promises of God for it is faith in His Word that will secure your breakthrough. The Lord promised you, that He would never leave you nor forsake you; He would always make a way of escape and ultimately cause us to triumph. There are times when we need a human ear to listen and a voice that will bring us a word to stir and bolster our faith.

No.2 A confidante, fellow leaders or a prayer partner.

Every leader needs someone with whom to share their burdens’. Sometimes it’s not advice they seek but somewhere they can off load. Leaders who pray together are at a tremendous advantage. They have authority in the spirit realm and they also have knowledge of the Word of God.

I shared last week on the ‘Ant’ philosophy and how they prepare for winter while still in the summer. We too need to make preparation for our future battles. I would like to suggest that we begin to ask the Lord to connect us with some one with whom we can partner with in prayer.
Consider getting involved in a prayer group or meet periodically with other leaders outside your local area. Firstly it will allow you to see they are going through or have gone through what you are going through right now. That can give a great sense of relief. Secondly, they can pray for you and be a support.

I would like to offer that support to fellow leaders. I have a tremendous intercessory group who would be more than glad to get behind you in prayer and I am also here; just an email way to help.
